What happens when you end employment in Taiwan?

For an employer termination under Labour Standards Act articles 11 or 13, article 16 sets notice at ten, twenty or thirty days according to service: over three months to under one year, one to under three years, and three years or more. Pay in lieu is required for missing notice.

What changes when you switch EOR providers in Taiwan?

In a reorganisation or transfer, service of employees retained by agreement between the old and new employers must be recognised by the new employer; other employees require the applicable notice and severance treatment.
